FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • What types of conditions/symptoms do you treat?
Low back pain- over 80% of adults will experience this at some point in their lifetime & it is the most common reason why people seek chiropractic care "Sciatica"- Sharp shooting pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which runs down one or both legs from the lower back. Other symptoms like weakness, numbness, or tingling in the leg can also occur. It is caused by injury to or pressure on the sciatic nerve. Chiropractic manipulation, along with other soft tissue modalities can help to relieve pressure and ease pain. SI Joint pain (Sacroiliac)- Pain that originates from the sacrum outward to the pelvis. Activities like sitting, standing, and walking for longer durations can stress the SI joint and make the pain worse. Chiropractic manipulation within the lumbopelvic region can improve this condition. Neck Pain- treated with cervical spinal manipulation, which has shown to be a better option than pain medications Cervicogenic/Tension Headaches- can be both-sided or one-sided pain that starts in the neck and is often referred from bony structures or soft tissues of the neck. The most common type of headache. Stress and muscle tension are often factors in these headaches. Chiropractic manipulation along with posture restoration can help to improve this issue. Whiplash- Most common injury following a car accident, but can also occur in contact sports. Occurs when the head is suddenly and forcefully moved forward and then backward, or vice versa, causing an overstretch or sprain in soft tissues in the neck. Pain, stiffness and discomfort in your neck usually follow. Pain may be worse when you try to turn your head in any direction. Dizziness and headache are also common symptoms with this injury. Chiropractic manipulation and soft tissue therapies are known to help. Acute rib Joint dysfunction- Pain can be felt in the back, along the rib, or in the shoulder, and may be one-sided. It can also be aggravated by activities like overhead lifting, lateral bending, or rotation. Pain may also increase when breathing deeply, coughing, or sneezing. Patients with this issue have been known to respond very well to a carefully placed chiropractic manipulation. Sports Injuries- commonly caused by overuse, direct impact, or the application of force that is greater than the body part can structurally withstand. Common injuries include bruises, sprains, strains, & joint injuries. Chiropractic care is known to aid in the improvement of sports performance and recovery.
  • Do you take insurance, or can I just pay cash?
We are in network with most of the major insurance companies. Please contact your insurance to personally verify your coverage as we will also do our best to verify it for you. Some services provided may not be covered under your plan. Cash is preferred as we have plenty of affordable cash rates and some of our pay plans are competitive to what a standard insurance co-pay may cost without having any limitations on the amount of visits to be seen. We also accept HSA/FSA.
  • . What should I expect/prepare for on my first visit?
Prepare by bringing in an ID, up to date insurance card (if necessary) , and form of payment (Debit/Credit/HSA/FSA). Expect to be sent a digital intake form to be completed the day before your first appointment. This will significantly expeditie your time spent in the office. Your first visit will last about 40-50 min, and follow up visits will last approx 20-30 min. Wear clothing as if you were headed to a workout or a fitness gym, and be mindful of the areas/regions you wish to be treated when choosing attire (example: wear/bring shorts if you have calf pain).
  • If I cannot make it into your office, can you come to me?
We are mobile! If for any reason you are unable to do an in office visit, we are happy to make it out to you as long as your space permits it. Separate rates apply, no insurance or HSA/FSA can be used.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING:

"My first visit Dr. Bey did an assessment, adjustment, and wrote up a regimen of visits and at home stretches to get my back into shape. I noticed my posture that was completely out of whack but even after 2 visits, I can tell my stance improving and breathing is easier! I've been able to pop in weekly before or after work without an appointment and takes less than 10 minutes. Dr. Bey and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional in a very cleanly office! Highly recommend!
